What you love about working with children: Working with children is very rewarding. I love that I am helping them build a foundation by learning valuable life skills so that they can be as independent as possible. I learn from children as well because they are always thinking outside of the box and are so creative with materials presented to them.

Basic Info: I grew up in Idaho, but moved to Arizona with my family to attend the A.T. Still University OT program. We decided that the summers in Arizona were not as bad the winters of Idaho. My wife an I have 2 children who keep us on our toes.

What you love about working with children: I love the excitement, challenge, and diversity of working with kids, There is rarely a dull moment and it is one of the most rewarding things I have been able to do.

Basic Info: I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. I graduated from Arizona State University with my bachelor’s degree in English Literature and received my master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from A.T. Still University. What you love about working with children: Everyday is an adventure filled with joy, discovery, and opportunity. There is nothing more gratifying than working with children. Each child is a unique individual with special strengths and needs. I love incorporating the child’s strengths and interests into activities to make the learning experience fun, meaningful and encouraging. After working in a skilled nursing facility, I decided to continue my education and I received my Master of Science in Clinical Speech Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University in 2015.

Megan Macllroy – Speech Language Pathologist
Basic Info:I am originally from Charlotte, North Carolina but I have lived in Glendale, Arizona most of my life. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at ASU in 2013. I completed my Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorder at NAU in 2016. More than just speech therapy, I have also provided feeding therapy to pediatrics from 6 months old and older, in individual and group settings. The majority of my training was received at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, however I am constantly learning and researching new therapy methods. I enjoy helping families and children with feeding difficulties because of the large impact it makes in their life. I am now completing my clinical fellowship year as a new speech language pathologist and am very excited to be working with your children on both their speech and feeding therapy needs!
Interests/hobbies outside of work: I have two Labradoodles that I like to spend time with and take to the dog park. I hope to train them to be therapy dogs one day. I also enjoy snowboarding and riding horses.

Basic info: I’ve lived in Arizona most of my life, come from a very large family and adore animals. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science degree from Western International University. I am an avid volunteer, working with non-profit organizations that support children and families living with life-threatening and chronic illnesses. Volunteering is how my amazing husband and I met; we are the proud parents of our adorable son Jaxon, he is our world!

Natalie – Patient Care Coordinator
Basic Info: Born in Washington State, but spent my childhood growing up near the beach in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. After a couple of moves and impulsive house shopping, somehow we ended up here. I moved to LA right after high school to further my education and came back home engaged to my better half (yes, I did graduate as well). We just recently got married and are still playing rock paper scissors for who needs to turn off the lights at night. We’re very blessed
Interest/Hobbies outside of work: My life outside of work revolves around my family. Whether it’s playing some volleyball in the evenings, finding new cliff jumping places with my hubby, or organizing our next trip, they tend to be who I spend most of my time with. On the other hand I am very involved with the Assemblies of God District for which I am part of the youth department staff team. Therefore, when I’m not with my family I’m planning some event for the district.

Favorite place to travel: The Riviera Maya is hands down my favorite place to travel to. Yet again, I’ll sit here and daydream about white sand and turquoise waters just about anywhere.
What do you like most about working with children: I have two nieces who -ALWAYS, ALL DAY LONG- have questions about anything and everything. It’s extraordinary, but children never get tired of asking “why?” I love it. They keep me on my toes and remind me of how much there is still to learn.
