Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Basic Information: I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, but I absolutely love the desert since I moved here in 2018. I graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2022 with an associate’s in OTA. I come from a big family and am the youngest of 6 kids! I was homeschooled for all of my education until college. I played basketball and volleyball starting in elementary until I graduated high school. I recently got married in January of 2023 to my amazing husband! I have plans to pursue my bachelor’s degree in behavioral health science from GCU at the end of 2023.
Interests and Hobbies: I love exploring the desert and finding more amazing places to catch the desert sunsets. I love painting, playing with my cat named Marvin, and finding new ways to let my creative side show. I love getting to spend quality time with my husband and my family. I hope to be a mom in the upcoming years!
Favorite Place to Travel: Anywhere with an ocean and sand! Although, I do enjoy the Colorado Rockies.
Favorite Quote: “It’s easy to give grace when I recall how much I need it.”
What I Love Most About Working with Children: What a privilege it is to work with kids! I love getting the opportunity to help grow and teach kids at a young age so they can grow up and become amazing people. I love getting to use my creative side for something meaningful and helpful through occupational therapy to make a huge difference one “game” at a time.
