This week’s App of the Week is brought to you by our Occupational Therapy Team. The selected App of the Week is: Dexteria Jr. – Fine Motor Skill Development for Toddlers and Preschoolers.
This app has 3 activities, each with successive levels to provide just the right challenge for your child: tap the animated squash, pinch the animated pepper, and trace/erase pre-writing strokes. This app helps to develop visual scanning, visual attention, eye-hand coordination, and fine motor dexterity. Visual scanning is an essential precursor skill for reading and math.
