Basic Information: Hello, my name is Elizabeth! I am 23 years old and I graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In December of 2020, I will obtain a Master’s degree in Special Education with a concentration in ABA from Arizona State University. My future professional goals include becoming a Behavior Analyst at a doctoral level. I was inspired to pursue a career in Behavior Analysis when my brother was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 3. He is currently 13 years old and I have been helping him with his daily living skills, translating all of his therapy sessions into Spanish, and have been privileged to witness all of his progress toward development.
Interests and Hobbies: Dancing, studying ABA, and learning about my Mexican culture and traditions!
Favorite Place to Travel: My favorite place to visit is my hometown: Guanajuato, Mexico.
Favorite Quote: “The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet”- Aristotle
What I Love Most About Working with Children: I love working and learning from children because they have taught me more about life than life itself. Every opportunity is a new learning experience!
