Interview with Adara
Tell us about yourself
Hi! My name is Adara, and I’ve been a Registered Behavior Technician for the past few years. I’m currently finishing up my Master’s in Special Education and working toward becoming a BCBA. Outside of work, I love staying active, spending time with my family and friends, and planning fun weekend getaways.
Why did you become a Registered Behavior Technician?
Becoming an RBT was recommended to me by someone I trust, and after learning more about the role, I realized it was a great fit for both my interests and background. It gave me the opportunity to apply my degree in psychology in a meaningful, hands-on way.
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being a TEAM Player?
I do my best to show up consistently, stay flexible, and support others however I can, whether that’s stepping in when someone needs help or sharing resources and ideas. I genuinely care about the people I work with and believe we do our best work when we support each other as a team.
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
The people, hands down! I love being part of a positive, supportive environment where everyone is invested and encouraging with the kids and one another.
If you could have one wish come true, what would it be?
If I could have one wish, it would be to live a long, happy and fulfilling life surrounded by the people I love. I’d spend my time traveling, sharing good food, and making lasting memories with my family and friends.
