Interview with Ale

Tell us about yourself

Hello, my name is Ale I’ve been an RBT for 6 years. I like cooking, cheering on our AZ home teams, skincare, and watching new series.

Why did you become a Registered Behavior Technician?

I became an RBT in 2015 because I wanted to become an OT. Throughout the years in this field, I have learned more about ABA and have fallen in love with it. I’m currently going back to school to pursue a degree in ABA.

Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Generous?

I believe I was nominated by my coworkers because I make a conscious effort in helping out whenever I am available. Helping new coworkers feel welcome. Using skills I have learned in past careers and bringing those skills to help those around me.

What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?

I love working at TEAM 4 Kids because you are given all the tools and support to grow.

If you had one wish, what would it be?

If I had one wish I would love to travel around the world with my significant other.

Nominations for Ale:

“Ale is a great friend who gives more than what is expected of her to myself, others and her job. She is generous with her time and kindness to all and helps anyone in need of either. She is always looking for opportunities to go above and beyond and I am lucky to call her a friend and the “mayor”.”

“Ale is always around to ask for help if I’m having a tough kid or need her input on some behavioral techniques. In addition, she has been helping us translate for a Spanish speaking family regularly and during her own time – which is amazing because we all know how busy T4K is! She takes the time to ask if we need help and to offer it, which to me is SUPER genuine and kind since we all have other things we could be doing!”

Ale is so generous with her time, knowledge, and skills.  She’s always willing to be flexible to see a client for an RBT that is sick or see a personal client on a Saturday occasionally.  Ale is very knowledgeable with clinical skills and is always willing to collaborate within and outside of her discipline.  Also, Ale is bilingual and is so generous with helping out around the clinic when an interpreter is needed.”

Ale is generous with her time!  She never hesitates to help out another RBT or any teammate at T4K. From translating in speech evals to helping at a job fair, she doesn’t hesitate to jump out of her comfort zone and help.”

Ale does not hesitate to help others when needed and step out of her comfort zone to do what is best for her kiddos!”
