Interview with Andrea
Tell us about yourself
Hi I am Andrea. I love kayaking, hiking and spending time with friends and my puppy Rizzo! I have worked with kids for over 20 years, holy cow, and love every minute of it. One day I hope to have my own clinic that works primarily with behavioral and emotional disorders but right now I love everything I am learning at TEAM 4 Kids!
Why did you become a Registered Behavior Technician?
I became an RBT to finish my hours toward my license and I am almost done. Hopefully, I can bring the world of ABA therapy to foster youth services to help get more kiddos into recreational programs that they can manage because we’ve taught them how.
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Innovative?
Maybe because I always try to find fun and creative ways to get a kiddo’s goals met based on their individual needs and motivators.
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
I love learning about all the other programs and getting to see all the progress our kiddos make!
If you could have 1 wish come true, what would it be?
To have my own program spread across the country to help as many foster youths as possible.
