Interview with Belinda

Tell us about yourself

Hi! My name is Belinda and I am one of the BCBAs here at Team 4 Kids. I have been working with children since 2016 and found my passion for working with children! Outside of work, I have a 16-year-old miniature poodle, she’s my built-in lifelong companion. In my free time, I enjoy exploring different local coffee shops and going to hot mat Pilates!

Why did you become a board-certified behavior analyst?

I’ve always been passionate about working with children, and I love that the role of a BCBA allows me to have such a direct impact. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the progress that kiddos make and to know that I’m contributing to their development in a meaningful way. It’s not just about working with behavior, it’s about improving lives in a real and lasting way.

Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being compassionate?

I think my coworkers nominated me for being compassionate because I genuinely care about the well-being of those around me. Whether it’s taking the time to listen to a teammate who might be having a tough day or offering support when someone needs help with a challenging situation, I try to be approachable and empathetic. I always try to create a positive, supportive environment for those around me.

What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?

What I love most about working at TEAM 4 Kids is the work environment. I genuinely look forward to coming to work every day. Everyone around me is always friendly and willing to help whenever it is needed. I love that there is always room to grow and continue learning while having my team’s full support along the way.

If you could have one wish come true,  what would it be?

If I had one wish, I would wish for more kindness in the world. Just a little more patience, understanding, and empathy in our daily interactions. I truly believe that small acts of kindness can make a huge difference, and if I could contribute to creating a more compassionate world, even in small ways, I think that would be a wish worth having.

Nominations for Belinda:

“Belinda falls nothing short of displaying empathy, understanding, & compassion towards others. She is constantly displaying kindness and care to those around her.”
