Interview with Heather
Tell us about yourself
I’ve lived in Arizona for over 20 years and I’ve been with TEAM 4 Kids for almost 7 years. I am married and have two kids and two cats. I love to go to concerts, travel and spend time with my family and friends.
Why did you become a Community Education Coordinator?
I wanted to be a CEC because I am passionate about marketing. It’s about telling stories and building connections. Being part of the marketing and community education department allows me to share our mission, advocate for the children we serve, and help families feel informed and supported.
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Optimistic?
I think my coworkers nominated me because I try to stay positive and bring a happy attitude to work each day. Even when challenges come up, I choose to believe that things will work out and that we can find solutions together.
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
What I love most about working for TEAM 4 Kids is being part of a team that believes in every child’s potential. Watching children reach milestones, overcome challenges, and build confidence reminds me every day why this work matters.
If you could have one wish come true, what would it be?
If I had one wish, it would be for more peace in the world. There is so much stress, conflict, and hurt right now, and I would love to see more kindness, understanding, and compassion between people.
