Interview with JamieLee
Tell us about yourself
My name is JamieLee, and I have been a Physical Therapist for 3 years. I have worked in several settings, including acute care, NICU, cardiac rehab, and now pediatrics. I was once an intern at TEAM 4 Kids, and I am so happy to be back! You can either find me with my nose in a book, on my Peloton, traveling, outdoors with friends, or hanging out with my husband and 3 cats.
Why did you become a physical therapist?
I was first introduced to PT as a patient. Physical therapy was recommended as a last resort for my injury, and it completely changed my life. I went into the field hoping that I could give that gift to someone else.
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being compassionate?
I like to leave people, places, and things better than how I found them.
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
My favorite part about working for TEAM 4 Kids is everyone’s willingness to learn and share their expertise. My favorite part about working with kids is the unique way in which they view the world. I love being a part of helping them become the best that they can be!
If you could have one wish come true, what would it be?
If I could have one wish come true, it would be that pets could live as long as humans.
