Interview with Jaqualine
Tell us about yourself
My name is Jackie and I’m the Executive Assistant at TEAM 4 Kids! I’ve been with the company for about 4 years. I have a dog named Cook, and an amazing fiancé I’ve been with for almost 9 years. We got engaged on Valentine’s Day, so we’re fully in our engagement era right now. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, traveling, painting, and cooking.
Why did you become an Executive Assistant?
I love being in a role where I can make a real impact behind the scenes. As the Executive Assistant, I get to work closely with leadership, help shape processes, and keep things running smoothly. I enjoy the fast-paced, ever-changing nature of the job. Since no two days are the same, every day feels fresh, new & exciting! It’s also given me the chance to build strong relationships, grow professionally, and develop skills like project management and problem-solving.
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Resourceful?
I’m really honored that my coworkers nominated me for this. I try to be always willing to step in and help, whether it’s in my department or outside of it. If I don’t know the answer right away, I’ll figure it out. I naturally lean into problem-solving and am always thinking about how we can do things more efficiently or improve processes.
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
I love the culture at TEAM 4 Kids! There is immense support from leadership, a strong sense of community, and the company is genuinely understanding. You can tell T4K wants what is best for their employees. Leadership really listens and values feedback, which makes a big difference in feeling heard and supported. There’s also a lot of flexibility and room for growth, and the environment just feels really positive overall. On top of that, I’ve built some great friendships over the course of time that I have been here, which makes it even more special.
If you could have one wish come true, what would it be?
I feel like perspective is one of, if not the most, important things in the whole world. If I had one wish, it would be that more people had the ability to find a sense of happiness and contentment with what they already have and focus on connection and presence. We are put on this earth to love and be loved, and it is so important to be in the moment and connect with the people around us while we can.
