Interview with Justine
Tell us about yourself
Hi, I’m an occupational therapist and have been practicing in the pediatric setting since 2020. Outside of work, I value spending quality time with my family and friends. I also love watching movies, having game nights, trying new foods, and exploring new places through travel.
Why did you become an Occupational Therapist?
I became a pediatric occupational therapist because I’ve always had a passion for working with children and helping them grow and succeed. I love that occupational therapy allows me to incorporate creativity and play into helping kids build important everyday skills. I was especially drawn to its holistic, child-centered approach, which focuses on supporting each child as an individual and empowering them within their own environment—not just treating a diagnosis.
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Resourceful?
I think my coworkers nominated me for being resourceful because I’m always looking for ways to problem-solve and support those around me. Whether it’s finding new approaches, sharing helpful tools, or jumping in when someone needs an extra hand, I try to be someone my team can rely on. I enjoy thinking creatively and working together to make sure we’re providing the best care possible while keeping a positive team environment.
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
What I love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids is the truly supportive, positive, and fun environment. There’s a great balance of professionalism and fun, which makes coming to work enjoyable every day. I also really appreciate how collaborative and resourceful the team is. Everyone is always willing to share ideas and find creative solutions, which helps us learn from one another and provide more well-rounded care.
If you could have one wish come true, what would it be?
I would wish for a life where I never stop learning, growing, and finding new ways to make an impact!
