Interview with Lily
Tell us about yourself
Hi! 🙂 I’m currently a full-time student at GCC pursuing my undergraduate degree in Exercise Science. I’ve lived in Arizona my whole life and have worked at TEAM 4 Kids for almost three years. A fun fact about me is that I have a fraternal twin sister!
Why did you become a Registered Behavior Technician?
I became an RBT because I thought it would be a great opportunity to gain experience while working toward my goal of becoming an Occupational Therapist. I started with the company as a Therapy Aide, realized how much I enjoyed working with the kids, and thought, “Why not build my own caseload and continue helping kiddos while I’m still in school?”
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Reliable?
I think my coworkers nominated me because I’m always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether it’s supporting during challenging behaviors or helping with smaller tasks and projects, I try to step in wherever I’m needed. I take pride in getting things done and being someone my team can count on.
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
What I love most about working at TEAM 4 Kids is the sense of community and teamwork. My coworkers are truly amazing, and everyone is always so supportive and willing to help. It’s inspiring to be part of a team where every employee is working toward the same goal—helping kids reach their greatest potential.
If you could have one wish come true, what would it be?
If I could have one wish, it would be the ability to teleport anywhere instantly. Just imagine how incredible that would be! Craving Chipotle for lunch and being there in seconds, no traffic, no waiting, no hassle. It would make everyday life so much more efficient and spontaneous. Plus, as someone who tends to run a little late, it would be a total game-changer. I’d never have to worry about missing or showing up late to anything ever again.
