Interview with Madi
Tell us about yourself
I’ve been an SLP and feeding therapist at TEAM 4 Kids for 3 and a half years now! I moved to Arizona from Nebraska in 2022, and I absolutely love it here. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, exercising, and traveling!
Why did you become a speech-language pathologist?
I chose to become an SLP because I am passionate about helping others reach their full potential. Watching children gain confidence in themselves and their communication is so important to me. I believe that every kid should be celebrated and cheerleaded along their journey, and I love that I get the chance to do that for them. Making a difference in the lives of the children and families I see is what motivates me every day!
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Generous?
I think I was nominated for this spotlight because I try to show up for others everyday, whether that is helping with tasks or offering encouragement. It’s important to me that the people around me always feel supported.
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
What I love most about working at TEAM 4 Kids is the collaborative and upbeat atmosphere. There is always someone willing to lend a hand, share ideas, or offer support. I genuinely have fun at work everyday, and there are always lots of laughs. Everyone here shows genuine care not just for the kids, but also for their coworkers!
If you could have one wish come true, what would it be?
If I could have one wish, it would be to magically have all of my loved ones together in one place. Living far away from home can be hard sometimes!
