Interview with Melissa
Tell us about yourself
Hello everyone, my name is Melissa, and I am a Clinical Fellow in Speech-Language Pathology here at TEAM 4 Kids. I earned my undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and later pursued my graduate studies in Speech-Language Pathology in Florida. I enjoy watching movies and going on bike rides in my free time.
Why did you become a Speech-Language Pathologist?
I chose to become a Speech-Language Pathologist because I recognized that the importance of communication is often overlooked. I wanted to help change that by making a meaningful difference in the lives of others through effective communication support.
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being adaptable?
I always strive to support my coworkers in any way I can. I’m adaptable to a variety of workplace settings and consistently aim to perform at my best, no matter the task.
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
I love working at TEAM 4 Kids because the team is incredibly supportive and collaborative. From the very beginning, everyone has been so welcoming and always willing to offer help in a variety of ways. I truly appreciate how approachable and knowledgeable my colleagues are—there’s always someone available to answer any questions I may have.
If you could have one wish come true, what would it be?
If I could have one wish come true, it would be the ability to teleport anywhere in the world.
