Interview with Nicolette
Tell us about yourself
My name is Nicolette. I’m 27 years old and I’ve lived in Arizona my whole life. I have two dogs, a pit bull and a boxer mix, that I love so much. I love to read fantasy books and learning fun facts.
Why did you become a Registered Behavior Technician?
I learned about RBTs and TEAM 4 Kids from the person I adopted one of my dogs from, and I was looking for a job at the time and missed working with kids, so I thought “why not give it a try”!
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being a TEAM Player?
I hope that my coworkers nominated me for being a team player because they feel that I would always offer a helping hand to them if they needed support, and I try my best to make sure everyone feels comfortable asking questions.
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
I love working at TEAM 4 Kids because it feels like you are never facing a challenge by yourself. Working with kids makes every day exciting and different, and I’m the type of person who needs that. I also love the other therapists that I have made lifelong friendships with, who support each other not just at work but in other parts of our lives!
If you could have one wish come true, what would it be?
Nominations for Nicolette:
“Nicolette has been helping organize the clinic and picking up overtime shifts for the clinic! She always brings a positive attitude to the clinic and helps out other teammates when they have any questions!”
“Nicolette constantly picks up extra shifts outside of her hours of availability to help out for coverage and is frequently checking in on coworkers to make sure they are ok or if they need any help with clients.”
“In the last two weeks that I’ve been working with Nicolette, she has shown not only good teamwork, but she is always stepping up to the plate and doing things that need to be done without being asked. She is a true team leader.”
“Nicolette is always the first one to offer up her time. She always works overtime if needed and covers clients. Nicolette is always coming up with new ways to make the clinic better. She is such a hard worker!”
