Interview with Olivia
Tell us about yourself
I have lived in Arizona since 2006. My husband and I have two boys, who are our pride and joy. I enjoy baking cookies, making gnomes, reading and spending time with my family, and visiting Sedona. I’m a board member of the Autism Society of Greater Phoenix and have worked within the disability community since 2015. I’m a big Arizona Coyotes fan and love decorating for the holidays.
Why did you become a receptionist?
TEAM 4 Kids has been a part of my family since 2014. My son has received many services from TEAM 4 Kids over the years and I was so impressed with the quality, dedication, and passion that the whole staff has for helping children. It stood out to me that TEAM 4 Kids is one of the few providers in the far West Valley and I knew I had to join the TEAM!
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Inclusive?
Inclusion is very important to me. I strive to make sure everyone, regardless of ability, is included in all aspects of life. I facilitate the Sibshops program at TEAM 4 Kids to give siblings of children with disabilities a place to be heard and feel understood. I’m always sharing resources that I feel others could benefit from.
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
I really love getting to interact with the kids and their families. I love celebrating each achievement and moment of progress. Our kiddos bring so much joy to my day.
If you had one wish, what would it be?
I would wish for endless amounts of money, not so much for myself, but because there are so many wonderful organizations that I would love to support.
