Interview with Ricki
Tell us about yourself
I am a native New Yorker who loves to laugh and smile. I moved to Arizona in 2013 and although I will always miss the pizza, bagels, and life of the city, Arizona now feels like home.
Why did you become a Speech therapist?
I became an SLP so I could help show people the glass is half full even though it may feel empty. Being able to share life’s experiences and laugh with others is so important, and it makes my heart happy every day that I get to help with that.
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Empathetic?
I think my coworkers nominated me for being empathetic because I am genuinely so very happy when others are happy and try to use all of my tools in my tool bucket to help others feel better when they may be in need of some help. This life, although wonderful, can also be very difficult and if I can help be that piece of validation or confidence that someone needs during that day, then I can go to sleep fulfilled.
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
T.E.A.M 4 Kids creates a harmonious balance between providing their employees continuous opportunities for professional and personal growth so that we are the best versions of ourselves we can be.
If you had one wish, what would it be?
If I had one wish it would be to own a petting zoo. Animals and petting. Enough said.
