Interview with Samantha
Tell us about yourself
I joined TEAM 4 Kids nearly six years ago after graduating from NAU, and it’s been such a rewarding place to grow my career. When I’m not at work, you can usually find me planning my next trip and spending time with my family and my pup, Nugget. I also love trying out crochet projects (with varying levels of success!) and catching up on my favorite Bravo shows.
Why did you become a Speech-Language Pathologist?
Speech therapy was a big part of my childhood, so I saw firsthand how much of a difference it can make. When it came time to choose a career, becoming an SLP felt like the perfect fit because it allowed me to build meaningful relationships while helping others reach their goals.
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Humorous?
I think coworkers may have nominated me because a little humor goes a long way! I try to find the positive in everyday situations and believe that laughing together can make even the busiest days a little brighter.
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
My favorite part of working at TEAM 4 Kids is seeing the progress our kids make over time. As rewarding as it is to watch them achieve their goals, I think my favorite part is seeing their parents experience those moments too. Celebrating those milestones together makes all the hard work worth it.
If you could have one wish come true, what would it be?
If I could have one wish come true, it would be the ability to teleport anywhere instantly. I love to travel, so being able to skip the traffic, airports, and long travel days would mean I could check off every destination on my bucket list and spend more time enjoying the adventure.
