Interview with Shanet
Tell us about yourself
Hi! I love everything Reality TV, reading, shopping, and self-care days. I recently got into Pilates, which I absolutely love!
Why did you become a Speech-Language Pathologist?
I knew I wanted to find a career where I could help people. After taking ASL for many years, I started thinking about careers where I could utilize ASL, make a difference, and work with kids. After lots of research at age 12, I discovered speech language pathology and knew from then on that I wanted to become an SLP!
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Optimistic?
I think my coworkers nominated me because I always try to find the positive in everything and be a smiley, helpful face around the clinic. I love giggling, smiling, and spreading positivity to my teammates!
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
I was a student here before working here full time, and I knew right away that I wanted to be part of the Team 4 Kids family! I love the support I feel across all disciplines. Everyone is amazing and always willing to help one another out. I also appreciate how everyone checks in with each other and truly gets to know their teammates on a personal level.
If you could have one wish come true, what would it be?
I wish I could travel anywhere, anytime, for free! I love traveling and exploring new places, so that would be a dream come true!
