Interview with Sidney
Tell us about yourself
Hi, I’m Sidney! I was born and raised in Arizona and have two adorable cats. In my free time, I love trying new restaurants, traveling, anything fitness related, and going to country music festivals!
Why did you become a Speech-Language Pathologist?
I became a speech therapist because helping kids communicate and find their voice is incredibly fulfilling. I’m so proud of the work my team and I do to help kids grow and reach their full potential.
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Creative?
I think my coworkers nominated me for being creative because I always try to make therapy sessions fun and engaging for my kiddos. Whether it’s crafts, games, or new ways to practice speech sounds, I believe kids learn best when they’re having fun. If I find something boring, they probably will too!
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
One of my favorite things about working at TEAM 4 Kids is the collaboration across disciplines. I work closely with our OT and ABA teams every week, and through simple conversations and teamwork, I’ve been able to help and support clients in ways I never imagined.
If you could have one wish come true, what would it be?
To travel the world for free! 🙂
