Employee Spotlight – Stephanie Harris

Interview with Stephanie

Tell us about yourself

I’m an Arizona native but a beach bum at heart! My free time is usually spent hanging out with family. I love trying anything new (food, activities, etc) as long as I’m surrounded by good people!! And if there’s music playing, I’m probably singing along to it.

Why did you become a Physical Therapy Assistant?

I’ve always been intrigued by the medical field and physical activity. And there’s nothing quite like hanging with kiddos so this seemed like the best choice! I was an outpatient and inpatient therapy technician prior and was lucky enough to get some guidance from my co-workers which led me to pursue physical therapy.

Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Generous?

I know how it feels to struggle and I’d never want anyone around me to feel the same. I love helping my co-workers with whatever they need!

What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?

As corny as it sounds, my Surprise crew really is a TEAM. From Admin, OTs, Speechies, and ABA we all communicate and keep an eye out for each other. My PT team talks to each other every day about treatment ideas, funny things we’ve heard, and how we can help each out. Shoutout to Ashley and Kayleen!!

If you could have one wish come true, what would it be?

Winning the lottery would be my automatic answer but I honestly wish everyone had a “glass half full” mentality, including myself.
