Interview with Julia

Tell us about yourself

I was born and raised in Arizona and the heat still surprises me every summer! I have a one year old son who is my pride and joy. Becoming a mother was always my dream and I have loved every minute of it! In my down time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son and our golden doodle Zoey and going on little family adventures together.

Why did you become a Speech-Language Pathologist?

I became an SLP because I have always had a passion for working with children. Being an SLP isn’t just a job title to me, it’s a chance to truly make a difference in the lives of children and their families. It is such an honor to be part of their growth!

Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being empathetic?

I hope they nominated me because they feel seen and know that I truly care about each one of them, both inside and outside of work. I work with the best TEAM and am very thankful for them every day.

What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?

I love that I get to be part of a TEAM who truly cares about their clients and celebrates the big and small wins. It’s such a game changer to work in a healthy, collaborative environment.

If you could have one wish come true, what would it be?

If I had one wish, it would be that we got to relive special moments with the family members and friends we have lost. I would love to give my husband more time with his dad.
