What is an RBT?
A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a certified professional who works under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide evidence-based behavioral therapy. RBTs play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism and other developmental differences by implementing therapy plans that help improve communication, social skills, and daily living activities.
How We Can Help You Get Certified
We are committed to helping potential applicants become certified RBTs! Here’s what you need to qualify and how we’ll guide you through the process:
Basic Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must pass a background check
Certification Process:
- 40-Hour Training Course – We provide guidance through the required training to ensure you are well-prepared.
- Competency Assessment – We assist with this hands-on evaluation to demonstrate your skills.
- RBT Exam – We help you prepare for and schedule your certification exam with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Join Our Team! – Once certified, you’ll have the opportunity to work with us and make a lasting impact on children and families.
