Occupational Therapist

Basic info: I’m a California native and received my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development at Sonoma State University, and was working as a teacher when I first became introduced to the field of Occupational Therapy. I moved to Arizona to chase my dreams of becoming an Occupational Therapist through the Master’s program at Midwestern University and graduated in 2018 with my degree.

Interests & Hobbies: I love all things outdoors! You can usually find me camping, biking, hiking, swimming, kayaking, or at the beach on my days off. I’m also a bit of a foodie and enjoy trying new spots around the Valley to eat with my boyfriend.

Favorite Quote: “Be compassionate and take responsibility for each other. If we only learned those lessons, this world would be so much better a place” -Morrie Schwartz

Favorite place to travel: Costa Rica! Hands down best food and most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen.

What I love about working with children: When working with kids, you’re given the constant reminder of how amazing and exciting the world can be. Everyday is a new opportunity to grow and learn both as a person and as a therapist because children encourage me to use my imagination and find creative ways to help them grow as well!
