HANNAH JACOBS
Occupational Therapist
Basic Info: I grew up in Seattle, Washington and went to Washington State
University where I received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Spanish. I moved to Nashville, Tennessee and graduated from Belmont University with my Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree in 2017. Although I absolutely loved living in the south, it was time for a new adventure. I am so excited to be living in Arizona and exploring a new region of the country.
Interests and hobbies: I love adventures, traveling, exploring new places, whether it’s a new city, new coffee shop, or a new mountain, and almost anything active or outdoors. I also like llamas, lettering/calligraphy, taking pictures, baking, and reading.
Favorite Quote: “’Usually’ is the enemy of adventure.” – Hallmark movie
Favorite place to travel: The Canadian Rocky Mountains are one of my favorite, and definitely one of the most stunning, places I’ve ever been. I have also been to Haiti several times, and it holds a very special place in my heart.
What you love about working with children: I love their imaginations, hearing their stories, and getting to see the world from their perspectives. I also love getting to incorporate play and imagination into therapy because I believe that so much learning and developing happens through purposeful, but fun, activities.
