Basic info:  Hello my name is Jennifer Chavarin, but I go by Jenny. I am one of the behavior analysts at Team 4 Kids. I was born and raised in Glendale, CA and lived in Southern California for most of my life. I moved to Arizona with my husband in 2019 and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. I have worked in ABA since 2018 and have grown to have a passion for the field. I attended Arizona State University and graduated with a Masters in Special Education (Applied Behavior Analysis).

Interests and Hobbies outside of work: I enjoy thrifting, renovating my home with my husband which includes tending to my Cacti/Succulent garden. In my spare time, I also like to relax and discover new coffee/ restaurants across the valley. I also like to read and watch The Office.

Favorite quote: “The pinky on my hand may be the smallest member and yet it still has a function, it is still important.”

Favorite Place to Travel: I haven’t traveled much up until the last two years and so far I have loved Lake Tahoe, Sedona, and Flagstaff. I have seen most of the California coast up until Santa Cruz. I plan to travel to other states before traveling internationally. The first few areas I’d want to visit are the Philippines, Mexico City, El Salvador, Ireland, and Germany.

What I love about working with children: Working with kids is so rewarding because they are like plants in their growth. Once they begin to soak up information it’s as if their roots are taking place, they begin to grow, and then they bloom. Doing the work to take up roots may take a while, but the wait to see them bloom is always worth it.
