Occupational Therapist

Basic Information: I am from the Hoosier state, born and raised in Indiana. I grew up in the city that is home to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. I received my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Ball State University (founded by the Ball Brothers, makers of Ball Jars) and graduated from The University of Indianapolis with my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. I moved at the beginning of summer 2021 to pursue my passion from the midwest to the west.

Interests and Hobbies: Road trips are my favorite! I crave spontaneous adventures and love to play/listen to music. You can catch me reading a good book or outdoors on a trail, playing sports, swimming in the pool, or sitting out by a fire hanging out with friends and family.

Favorite Place to Travel: I admire the mountains the most but anywhere that allows me to explore and see Earth’s natural beauty is where I will go. I hope to one day travel to Australia and Italy.

Favorite Quote: “Don’t forget where you came from, but never lose sight of where you are going.”

What I Love Most About Working with Children: Children bring new wonders and excitements each day. They are my greatest encouragement to use my imitation, stay positive, and celebrate the simplest things. What I love most is having the opportunity to know each child’s unique personality and empower them and their families to succeed for a brighter future. To be able to witness those groundbreaking moments that you’ve both been striving towards is one of the greatest rewards and I am very fortunate to have a career that gives me the ability to play, learn something new, and help children of all abilities thrive every day.
