Speech Language Pathologist

Basic Info: I am originally from Charlotte, North Carolina but I have lived in Glendale, Arizona most of my life. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at ASU in 2013. I completed my Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorder at NAU in 2016. More than just speech therapy, I have also provided feeding therapy to pediatrics from 6 months old and older, in individual and group settings. The majority of my training was received at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, however I am constantly learning and researching new therapy methods. I enjoy helping families and children with feeding difficulties because of the large impact it makes in their life. I am now completing my clinical fellowship year as a new speech language pathologist and am very excited to be working with your children on both their speech and feeding therapy needs!

Interests/hobbies outside of work: I have two Labradoodles that I like to spend time with and take to the dog park. I hope to train them to be therapy dogs one day. I also enjoy snowboarding and riding horses.

Favorite quote: Only through communication can human life hold meaning.

Favorite place to travel: I enjoy traveling to the snow to snowboard with my husband. I also enjoy traveling and exploring new places with my family.

What do you like most about working with children: I love working with children because of their imagination and uniquely positive and tender personalities. I enjoy knowing that I can help create a great foundation for the rest of their lives.
