Basic Information: Hello. My name is Nicki and I am excited to be apart of TEAM4Kids community. I received my bachelor degree from National Louis University in early childhood education and psychology. I have worked as an early intervention and kindergarten teacher for about ten years. I decided to go back to get my masters after seeing the need for teachers specializing in behavioral challenges. I received my masters degree from ASU in 2019 in Applied Behavior Analysis and transitioned to a behavior specialist in the Peoria Unified School District. I am excited to be a part of the team and look forward to helping everyone reach their greatest potential.

Interests and Hobbies: I am a proud dog mom and spend my free time with my three girls, Jillian, Tango, and Itty Bitty. I also volunteer with local dog rescues. When I am not with my dogs, I love going out to eat, hiking, and game nights with friends.

Favorite Place to Travel: My favorite place to travel is any National Park.

Favorite Quote: “A failure is not always a mistake, it may simply be the best one can do under the circumstances. The real mistake is to stop trying.” -B.F. Skinner

What I Love Most About Working with Children: I love working with children because it is fun! Children are so resilient, present, and energetic. Children have as much to teach us as we have to teach them.
