Speech Language Pathology Assistant

Basic Information: I have lived in Arizona for 18 years and am originally from Pennsylvania. I graduated with my Communication Disorders certificate from Arizona State University in May of 2021 and I completed my internship in November of 2021. I am super excited to embark on my new career!

Interests and Hobbies: Anything to do with my nine dogs. Yes, you read that right…..NINE! Two are show dogs (and family pets) and the rest have the easy role of the family pets. The dog show world is completely new to me and has been a great experience so far. I also love to craft – mostly shabby chic and victorian style crafts. While my glue gun is my best friend, I do love to read books when I have extra time as well.

Favorite Place to Travel: Anywhere overseas. My husband is German so we often go to visit his family in Germany. While visiting, we usually take a train or plane and visit another county for at least a few days.

Favorite Quote: “No matter where you go, there you are.”

What I Love Most About Working with Children: I love how receptive children are and how their faces light up when they realize they are reaching a speech goal. They are enthusiastic and engaging and they love to have fun while learning. I find it rewarding when the parents realize how far their children have come in reaching their speech goals.
