Interested in observing at T.E.A.M. 4 Kids?

T.E.A.M. 4 Kids offers the opportunity to complete student observation hours of a licensed Speech, Occupational, Feeding, or Physical Therapist that are required for applying to a therapy Associate, Graduate, or Doctorate program. We allow students to observe one third of their needed hours in our clinic, which is a pediatric setting. For instance, if your program requires you to obtain 30 observation hours, we will allow you to observe 10 hours in our clinic. We do this because T.E.A.M. 4 Kids feels that it is very important for students to obtain a well rounded experience in a variety of different settings to be fully prepared for applying to a therapy program.

Prior to completing your direct observation hours of a licensed therapist, we do require an equal amount of hours to be completed in volunteer hours, up to 15 hours. For example, if you would like to observe a licensed therapist for 10 hours, first, you must complete 10 hours of volunteer hours which could include therapy projects, sanitizing supplies, and housekeeping tasks that prepares the students to see how the back-end of therapy works.
