Interview with Chelsea
Tell us about yourself
I am 28 years old, born in New York but raised in Phoenix, AZ. I went to NAU for my undergraduate and Carrington College for my PTA certification. I have a chihuahua/cattle dog mix who is obsessed with her advent calendar from this holiday season! When I’m not at work I am walking my dog, spending time with loved ones, and trying to find fun new things around the state!
Why did you become a Physical Therapy Assistant?
I became a PTA because I love helping kiddos reach their greatest potential. Making it fun for both the kiddo and parent to have a purposeful play that reaches them to their goals and when they reach their goals they are so proud, I am just grateful to be a part of that!
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Festive?
During the holiday season, I am always searching for the houses with the best displays! I love finding festive activities around the valley and each night I watch a holiday movie and drink hot cocoa. My dog wears a festive bandana and my house is decorated for all holidays!! But the best part of the holidays is giving back to others that are in need. Each holiday season I love to give back to the community, like bringing items to homeless shelters and to animal shelters. It is just the best time of the year!!
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
I love everything about working at Team 4 Kids from the families, amazing kiddos, and supportive co-workers and owners!!
If you had one wish that could come true this holiday season, what would it be?
My one wish for this holiday season would be for everyone would be able to spend time with loved ones near or far
