Interview with Julia
Tell us about yourself
I am an Arizona native and the only girl in a family full of amazing brothers. I would describe myself as an old soul at heart. I enjoy sitting down to watch a great black and white movie or musical and getting to sleep before 9 pm haha. My most favorite thing in the world is to laugh. It’s good for the soul! Why did you become a Speech Therapist?
I’ve always loved working with children of all ages. I was inspired to become a speech-language pathologist while working as a respite care provider for young children during my high school/early college days. I had the opportunity to sit in on speech therapy sessions every week and see the amazing things that the speech therapist was able to do. I immediately applied for classes and the rest is history!
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Genuine?
My hope is that they nominated me because they can feel the genuine love and care that I have for each one of them. I am part of the most amazing TEAM around and I truly consider them to be my family.
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
I have the opportunity to work alongside the absolute best coworkers and we have the most wonderful clients and families that allow us to be part of their lives. TEAM 4 Kids is truly a special place and I feel blessed to be a part of it!
If you had one wish, what would it be?
If I had one wish it would be to give everyone the chance to have a voice and to feel loved just as they are.
