Tips to Supporting The Emotional Development of Children Through Active Play

by | Apr 29, 2019 | Physical Therapy

I am always looking for new information or ideas on how to improve the lives of children that I work with on a daily basis. Coming up with ways to help our TEAM 4 Kids families support their children is one of the perks of my job. When I read this blog from Your Therapy Source on “Tips to supporting the emotional development of children through active play”, I was excited.

The article gives the reader examples of how physical active play can help with your child’s emotions. It goes on to suggest how parents can support and play with their children while making it fun and productive. Many of the ideas and concepts in the article are great for any of the children that visit us at TEAM 4 Kids. Regardless of whether your child is seen for speech therapy, occupational therapy, feeding therapy or physical therapy they can benefit from the information. I hope you enjoy.

If you have any concerns regarding your child’s development, call us for a free screening or an evaluation.
