Interview with Alex

Tell us about yourself

I love music, travelling, spending time with my pets and family, and can be found trying new foods in the Valley or being active outdoors with my boyfriend in my free time.

Why did you become an Occupational Therapist?

I love how versatile and creative occupational therapy can be. I chose it because it allows me the opportunity to play all day and simultaneously make a difference in the life of a child!

Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Compassionate?

I honestly am so lucky to have such great relationships with my co-workers and several of the parents and kids I work with. I think I was nominated as most compassionate because I try to nurture those relationships daily, whether it’s a smile in passing or more in-depth of checking in on someone’s mental health.

What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?

I really do love my co-workers! I can’t say this enough, but the social aspect of interacting with and working alongside such amazing humans is the highlight of my day at TEAM.

If you could have 1 wish come true, what would it be?

If I could wish for anything, it would be for the time and money to travel the world.
