Interview with Amanda
Tell us about yourself
I grew up in the Midwest and moved to Arizona with my husband in 2008. We have 2 boys who keep us busy with all their energy, school work, and sports. I have been a Pediatric Physical Therapist for almost 17 years and absolutely LOVE what I do!
Why did you become a Physical Therapist?
I became a Physical Therapist to help others. I was first exposed to PT at the age of 10 when my little sister needed PT to learn how to walk again. I remember thinking it looked like the best job ever to get to help kids all day and knew from that day on it’s what I wanted to do when I grew up!
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Compassionate?
I feel super special being nominated as compassionate! I always try to put myself in the other person’s shoes and take everything they may be going through into consideration. I love helping others and it means a lot to me to know it shows!
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
What I love most about working at TEAM 4 Kids is the group of people I get to work alongside of every day. It is so nice to wake up every morning and enjoy going to work. From the owners to the newest employee and everyone in between, TEAM 4 kids is great and I am thankful to be a part of it!
If you could have 1 wish come true, what would it be?
If I could have one wish come true it would be for my kids to always know just how special they are and how much they are loved!
