Interview with Chelsea
Tell us about yourself
I am 28 years old, I was born in New York and raised in Arizona. I have a dog named Saylor. I love to hang out with family and friends, and I am always looking for something fun and interesting to do on my weekends to spend quality time with my loved ones.
Why did you become a Physical Therapy Assistant?
I have always found the way that the body works and moves is fascinating. I had knee surgery from competitive dance when I was 14 and knew then I wanted to work in PT and help fellow dancers. I love helping and caring for people and it is rewarding to help them get back into their most functional state.
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Adventurous?
I believe that I was nominated for being adventurous because I am always willing to try something new in regards to treatment and in my personal life. I love trying newly learned techniques, taking a risk with treatment to see the end result, and trying new restaurants or experiences in my personal life. If you ask anyone, I am always looking for something new to do!
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
I love working with my co-workers, interacting with the kiddos, and honestly, I never feel like I work a day in my life. I genuinely love everything about my job and wouldn’t trade it for the world!
If you had one wish, what would it be?
I wish I could read people’s minds! I always want to know what people are feeling or thinking.
