Interview with Ethan

Tell us about yourself

I was born and raised in Arizona and love the sunshine! I am currently working on my Bachelor’s in Kinesiology at Arizona State and plan to apply to DPT programs to become a physical therapist in the coming years. I am a kid at heart and love serving with local programs mentoring youth in the West Valley. I also love to get outdoors and hike with my friends and family when it’s under 100 degrees!

Why did you become a Therapy Aide?

I have always had a passion for working with children and teenagers. I remember the feeling of walking into medical environments as a child. As an aspiring future PT, I wanted to start this journey serving alongside and learning from amazing therapists who TRULY care and do everything they can to provide the best service for children and families – something I found in this TEAM!

Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Generous?

I think I was nominated because I love to take the time to encourage others, show gratitude, and help out no matter how random (or gross haha!) a task may be. TEAM 4 Kids is truly a family, and I think as an aide one of my duties is to do everything I can to help the simple things run smoothly for the incredible people around me!

What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?

I love that TEAM 4 Kids is an environment that feels welcome and fun for kids and their families. Everyone, I get the privilege of working with are not afraid to be silly and engage with what’s important to children while helping build their skill sets and confidence around their specific therapy.

If you had one wish, what would it be?

I would want everyone to know how loved, cared for, and appreciated they are to someone in this world! Encouragement is so important because it tells us more about who we are on the inside and helps us along when times get tough.

Nominations for Ethan:

“Ethan is always happy to help no matter what you are asking of him. His demeanor is always friendly with a smile on his face ready to drop everything he is doing to help you out. He goes above and beyond every day he is at work, which doesn’t seem much different from his personal life as well. His kind and thoughtful personality are a couple of reasons why he is so generous.”

Ethan is always on the lookout for others who might need assistance and he is quick to stop and help without being asked!”

Ethan is the epitome of generosity! He is always so selfless and giving with his time and energy.  He is always offering to help and is usually one of the first people to volunteer when others need assistance with anything.  I am so grateful to work with him!  He makes life for therapists so much easier and I think I can speak for other therapists when I say that it’s so appreciated.”

Ethan is the first person who is always willing to help with everything! He always helps with random questions I have and has the best attitude.”

Ethan is so generous with his time and willingness to pause what he is doing to help others. He expresses his gratitude when you help him with small tasks and always has a smile on his face! He generously holds the door open for others along with many other thoughtful actions. He goes a step further than what is expected of him to make his coworkers feel appreciated.”
