Interview with Kate
Tell us about yourself
I grew up in Kentucky and moved out to Arizona six years ago with my husband. We have a baby boy and Milo who’s also our child (he’s a dog.) I love spending time with my family, traveling to new places, and anything artsy.
Why did you become an Occupational Therapist?
I became an OT because I wanted to work with kids and help them reach their milestones. It is a fulfilling job and I truly enjoy building a bond with the kiddos and their families.
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Genuine?
I hope it’s because I try to be a good listener and am an honest person. I have pretty awesome coworkers so it’s not hard to do!
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
There’s a lot of things I love. I love working with the families, learning from really talented therapists, and I also enjoy the people around me every day.
If you had one wish, what would it be?
I’d wish that my son stays happy and healthy!
