Interview with Sara
Tell us about yourself
I am originally from Chicago and moved to Arizona early this year. I love being with family, friends, and my pets and would do anything for them. I enjoy trying new foods and restaurants and I love to travel and be outdoors. I also of course love being an OT and working with children!
Why did you become an Occupational Therapist?
I have always known I wanted to do something working with and helping other people, especially children. Once I learned about OT it was a no brainer! I love how OTs work with the whole body and mind. I love how OTs find creative ways to solve problems and help individuals be more independent.
Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being Adventurous?
I feel like there are a lot of adventurous spirits here at TEAM 4 Kids! It might be because of my eagerness to hike, explore Arizona and all around since moving here. I also have had quite a few weekend travels this year! Additionally, at work, I am always looking to learn more and often say yes to new ideas and opportunities.
What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?
I have really enjoyed getting to know everyone here and learning from others!
If you had one wish, what would it be?
Hmm I would say to have more control of time so I could spend more time with those I love, extend some fun times and trips, and have more time in the day to finish what I need to!
