Interview with Amanda

Tell us about yourself

I have been a Pediatric PT for 18 years and absolutely love what I do. Helping children reach their greatest potential brings me joy. Moving into a leadership role over the last several years to help therapists grow in their own field has been meaningful and especially rewarding to me.

Why did you become a Physical Therapist?

I originally became a PT to help others. I watched my sister go through PT when we were young and from then on I knew it was what I wanted to do!

Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being genuine?

I think my coworkers may have nominated me for being genuine because I truly care. I try to listen as much as I can and really try to understand what they are experiencing. I try to be honest and compassionate, at the same time.

What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?

What I love most about working at TEAM 4 Kids is the amazing people I get to work with. I have learned so much and grown exponentially over the past 10 years. I can honestly say I am a better person from the individuals I get to work alongside at T4K.

If you could have one wish come true, what would it be?

If I could have one wish come true it would be for everyone to be thankful for what they have. Life is so short and can change in the blink of an eye. No matter how hard things are, there is always something to be thankful for!
