Interview with Rodrigo

Tell us about yourself

I am a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensed to work in Arizona. I have been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for several years, specializing in providing support and intervention for children with developmental delays. I am passionate about helping individuals reach their fullest potential and improving their quality of life through evidence-based practices and interventions.

Why did you become a BCBA?

I became a BCBA because I have always had a deep interest in understanding human behavior and finding ways to positively impact people’s lives. The field of ABA offered me a comprehensive framework and practical tools to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental delays. Witnessing the progress and growth of my clients, seeing them achieve milestones and overcome challenges, is incredibly rewarding and sustains my decision to become a BCBA.

Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being diligent?

I believe my coworkers nominated me for being diligent because I strive to consistently demonstrate a strong work ethic and dedication to my role as a BCBA. I approach my work with thoroughness, attention to detail, and a commitment to evidence-based practices. I believe that by being diligent in my work, I can contribute to the overall success and progress of the team and the individuals we serve.

What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?

What I love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids is the collaborative and supportive environment. We have a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and their families. As we learn to collaborate and share ideas, we ensure the best outcomes for our clients. The sense of camaraderie and the opportunity to learn from and grow with my colleagues is something I truly cherish.

If you could have one wish come true, what would it be?

If I could have one wish come true, it would be for every human being to have access to the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive and lead fulfilling lives. I would wish for a world where competition to access positive environments is eliminated. I dream of a society that values behaviorism as a quintessential educational model. These wishes reflect my deep-rooted commitment to advocating for the rights and well-being of individuals with a variety of behavioral challenges and needs and my belief in the power of ABA to make a positive impact on their lives.
