Interview with Steve

Tell us about yourself

I am the type of person who believes that you can and should have fun doing just about anything you do. I enjoy riding and working on motorcycles, golfing, and I have been into building and driving remote control cars.

Why did you become a Physical Therapist?

I have always been mechanically inclined and have an interest in the human body. I started as an engineering student then switched to kinesiology and became a personal trainer before finally deciding to pursue physical therapy.

Why do you think your coworkers nominated you for being humorous?

I am always having fun with the kids and other co-workers. I try to make the environment a little less serious.

What do you love most about working with TEAM 4 Kids?

Interacting with all the great kids that come through. I’ll often just go to the lobby and say hi and play with some of the kids checking in or waiting.

Tell us your best joke

I’ve been trying to remember more jokes but I usually have a terrible memory for them. One of my favorites is: “what do you call a bear with no teeth? A gummy bear!” I also like to tell kids that the only part of their reflection they can lick is their tongue. That’s usually met with some puzzled looks.
